I want to download FF7 for PSX, but all the roms are three parts. Do my saved games work when I switch from disk 1 to disk 2?

I am new to emulation and really want to replay FF7. What I don't understand is all of the roms have a separate rom for each disk. How do my saved games carry from rom to rom? Is there a special emulator I should use? Or is it no big deal?

I played this game in my Youth when I 14 years old. I had no idea what kind of Game was an RPG. I was for the most part raised in the boonies so I didn't have access to anything too Technologically Advanced I'll say. When I moved into the nearby city, I made friends and They ended up giving me games they bought but didn't like. One of those was Final Fantasy VII (another was Legend of Dragoon, some others that must not have made that big of an Impression on me if I can't remember their names). Now you'll have to remember that, I was mostly a Country Bumpkin until that time I moved away from My old school and onto another. I sit down and, started playing this game and,Kept playing it(First time with a Playstation)and, in a way it changed my life. Hear me out before you say anything bad about that. Playing this game what with it's awesome storyline made me want to grow up and, become a Game designer. That game for the most part was the start of it all. This game caused me to become a gamer and, yearn to try and, conquer other games. I came, I saw, I gamed.
